Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician responsible for managing the warranty and service schedule and coordinating with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and Construction Supervisor to allocate labor for solar projects.

This role involves leading trainings, on-boarding new team members, driving field performance KPIs, and traveling as required to service sites, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required; Journeyman license preferred depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Allocate labor resources for service and warranty projects with supervision.
• Lead training and onboarding for field service technicians and technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team.
• Exceed defined field performance KPIs including turnaround time and dispatches.
• Assist with inspections and site audits; travel up to 100%.
