Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Performance Technician to manage field service and warranty work for residential solar installations. You will coordinate with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and centralized scheduling to allocate labor and ensure timely completion of projects.

The role requires 1-3 years of field construction or solar experience, a High School diploma, and knowledge of NEC codes and PV systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred.
• High School diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Work with Foreman, Supervisor and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources.
• Assist with training and onboarding of Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
• Support onboarding and training of new members of the field performance team.
• Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance KPIs including turnaround time, experience rating and dispatches completed.
• Assist with inspections and site audits when assigned.
