Job summary

Sunrun in California seeks a Field Performance Technician to manage service and warranty work within the Performance O&M team. You will work with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and central scheduling to keep projects on track and customers satisfied.

The role requires 1–3 years solar experience, a High School diploma, and a safety-minded approach. You will train staff, lead meetings, and help drive KPI targets in a dynamic residential solar environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices
• Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team
• Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completed
• Assist with other tasks including inspections and site audits when assigned
