Job summary

Signal Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead post-award activities for utility-scale solar EPC projects in North America. You will ensure continuity from bid to execution, preserve commercial intent, manage risks, and translate proposals into executable project plans.

You will negotiate EPC agreements with Legal, Business Development, and Executive Leadership, coordinate risk reviews, procurement buy-out, and handover to Operations, driving safe, predictable, and profitable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
Strong understanding of EPC contracts, scheduling, and risk management.
Proficient in budget and cash flow analysis.
Solar EPC construction management experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead post-award activities from preferred bidder/award through EPC Agreement execution, LNTP/FNTP, and handover to Operations.
Own EPC Agreement negotiations, in partnership with Legal, Business Development, and Executive Leadership.
Identify and manage commercial, technical, and execution risks during negotiations to avoid scope creep or unintended exposure.
Preserve bid intent through contract execution and LNTP/FNTP issuance.
Develop a complete and executable project plan for Operations, including design basis and constructability decisions.
