AES Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to drive solar PV and integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) project development across the US and internationally, with the goal of expanding our owner-operated renewable portfolio.
You will coordinate with Business Development, Execution and Finance teams and perform technical due diligence for opportunities and RFP responses.
Formación
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of renewable energy project development, design, analysis and construction.
- Proficiency with PV modeling tools and CAD such as PVSYST, Helioscope, Plant Predict and AutoCAD.
Responsabilidades
- Energy production modeling for projects in development (PVSYST, Helioscope, Plant Predict).
- Battery dispatch modeling for projects in development (Excel, Matlab).
- Site evaluation (remote and in-person) for project suitability.
- Project pricing and value engineering with an Estimator.
- Develop preliminary plant designs, site layouts, single lines.
- Support for RFPs, Greenfield Development, and Acquisition studies up to 30% design.
