Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to support acquisition, development and sustainment of aviation programs. On-site at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, the role requires an active security posture and strong systems engineering expertise.

The position is future funded and expected to begin no earlier than September 1, 2026, with a compensation range reflective of experience and responsibilities in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Ten years experience performing software and systems engineering activities.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
