Job summary

Designed Conveyor Systems is seeking a Senior Software Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between sales and software delivery. You will own the Level 2 SDS, build firm estimates, and collaborate with the Solutions Software team through the L1-L2 transition.

You will lead design workshops, conduct onsite discovery, and help shape the software scope for customers. You will work with cross-functional teams, write integration specs, and travel up to 50% to customer sites as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or technical project delivery.
• Strong ability to defend design decisions in customer-facing scenarios.
• Experience in agile environments and with backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Develop Level 2 SDS expanding on Level 1 SDS for customer proposals.
• Create firm estimates converting ROM numbers into hours, deliverables, and assumptions.
• Collaborate with Solutions Software team to ensure scope sold matches delivered.
• Lead design workshops with customers and stakeholders; participate in Scrum ceremonies.
