Job summary
Designed Conveyor Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver the DATUM software products including WES and WCS. You will report to the VP of Software and contribute to R&D, customer projects, and the product roadmap.
You will lead design and development across an event-driven microservices architecture, build backend services with open-source frameworks, and mentor junior team members. Expect ~15% travel to customer sites.
Qualifications
- Five+ years of experience in industrial software development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Partner with VP of Software to develop software product strategies and roadmaps.
- Design, develop, and improve DATUM to support customer needs and product growth.
- Provide full stack design and development across an event-driven microservices architecture.
- Lead design and development activities for customer projects and R&D initiatives.
- Mentor entry-level and mid-level developers and Software Delivery team members.
- Support commissioning at customer sites with ~15% travel.
