Designed Conveyor Systems seeks a Software Solutions Consultant to connect prospective customers with the DATUM software capabilities. You will gather requirements, guide opportunities through scoping, pricing, and proposal processes, and work with multiple teams to deliver technical demonstrations and informed proposals.

Approximately 50% of time will be with customers, including discovery conversations, technical presentations, and trade shows.

Formación

• 3+ years in Warehouse Execution System software technical sales, consulting, or implementation.
• Ability to gather requirements, evaluate system compatibility, and document scope.
• Ability to explain software concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer needs and outcomes.
• Scope DATUM software opportunities including customization and initial project requirements.
• Serve as customer-facing technical resource throughout the sales process.
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations explaining platform capabilities and data workflows.
• Develop Supademo content and manage software content for the demo center.
• Support remote and in-person trade shows with technical Q&A.
• Collaborate across Sales, Solutions Business Development, System Engineering, DATUM Development, Estimating, and Implementation for pricing and proposals.
• Provide feedback from discovery to R&D and sales pipelines.
• Draft commercial agreements with Contracts Management.
• Create level one Software Design Specifications for internal review.
• Create internal guides and external knowledge base content.
