Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Sales in the United States to originate and advance qualified software opportunities within an assigned territory and product scope. You will work with client account teams and clients to develop pipeline and support partners, guiding junior team members where needed.

Key responsibilities include pipeline origination, qualification, deal execution, partner support, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or a closely related commercial role.
• 8+ years experience selling software solutions to large enterprises; familiarity with SaaS, license and managed service commercial models.
• Proven track record achieving and exceeding quotas.
• Minimum 6 months of demonstrated experience selling AI-native software products — solutions built on LLMs, agentic workflows or ML platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate and qualify new software sales opportunities within an assigned territory, working with client teams and/or directly with the client.
• Manage a personal pipeline to ensure full coverage of the sales target; keep CRM updated.
• Conduct discovery conversations to surface client pain points and map them to product capabilities.
• Participate in account planning for key targets and contribute opportunity identification and GTM input.
• Prepare and deliver tailored value propositions, business cases and commercial proposals for mid-market and enterprise accounts.
• Coordinate pre-sales and product resources throughout the sales cycle to maintain momentum.
