Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense in the United States is seeking an experienced software product leader to own the roadmap across apps, web, fleet, and installer tools. You will translate field and customer needs into clear requirements and drive MVPs from concept to launch.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software product or program management, technical fluency across mobile/web apps, APIs, data products, and cloud software, and a startup mindset. Remote-first environment with strong autonomy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software product, technical product, or program management.
• Track record delivering complex software products from concept through launch.
• Technical fluency across mobile/web apps, backend, APIs, data products, and cloud software.
• Experience partnering with engineering to define requirements and ship production software.
• Systems thinking across software, hardware, field operations, and business strategy.
• Startup-comfortable: hands-on and self-directed, with excellent communication and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Own the software roadmap across apps, web, fleet and installer tools, internal tools, and data products.
• Translate customer, installer, support, and business needs into clear requirements and PRDs.
• Prioritize across revenue, customer experience, reliability, install scale, and support burden.
• Build lightweight prototypes and MVPs to validate ideas before build.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch, owning scope, milestones, and risks.
• Coordinate with software, firmware, hardware, and data teams to ensure data flow.
• Establish simple rhythms for roadmap, release planning, and post-launch learning, and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Grow and mentor the software product and function as the team scales.
• Stand up key software product processes: development lifecycle, requirements, and release management.
