Job summary

Vibrant Planet seeks a Senior Product Manager to drive a new utilities line from 0.5 to 100, reporting to the Chief Product Officer and partnering with fire science, analytics, engineering, design, and business development to shape user experiences, data flows, and partnerships.

The role requires owning customer research, data strategies, and a go-to-market approach, with a focus on building wildfire and infrastructure resilience for utility customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management for complex B2B/B2G products.
• Proven track record in customer discovery with technical/expert/enterprise customers.
• Experience in zero-to-one product definition including pricing and training considerations.
• Able to work with scientists, engineers, and analysts to create value.
• Significant experience in electric utilities, meteorology, or fire modeling.
• Preferred experience building geospatial products.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert on named account user experiences across Vibrant Planet apps.
• Advocate for user interests with business, design, and engineering.
• Synthesize needs into prioritized features and products.
• Own the product roadmap and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Collaborate with Design, Science, and Engineering to deliver on time.
• Contribute to strategy, investor materials, and key partnerships.
• Develop and test business cases for new product bets.
• Support sales and marketing with training and collateral.
• Contribute to proposals and pilots.
