RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join our on-site Tucson, AZ team, supporting missile programs with a software-focused embedded systems emphasis. You will manage system and subsystem requirements, perform MBSE activities, and collaborate with customers and multi-discipline teams to ensure the software and hardware integrate and verify successfully.

You will mentor newer engineers, lead trade studies, and contribute to verification, validation, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 8+ years engineering experience.
• Experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience in MBSE, requirements development/verification, or integration and test for software products.

Responsabilités

• Update and maintain system and subsystem requirements for embedded software and test systems.
• Model the system and development processes using Cameo.
• Conduct trade studies and present results to customers.
• SE contributor for verification and validation activities.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Configurable Logic and Test teams on program tasks.
• Participate in technical conversations with the customer.
• Become a knowledgeable Systems Engineer for the software-centric program.
• Mentor and onboard new team members using core Systems Engineering skills.
