RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) organization. You will lead embedded software requirements and integrate multi-disciplinary efforts across software, hardware, and test teams to ensure first-time success for missile systems.

The role emphasizes MBSE, requirements development and verification, and collaboration with customers and stakeholders in a high-security environment.

Formación

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience in Systems Engineering
• Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Requirements Development, Requirements Management, Requirements Verification, or Integration and Test for software products

Responsabilidades

• Update and maintain all system and subsystem level requirements specifications for embedded software, configurable logic and/or test systems software
• Model the system and the system development and production processes using Cameo
• Conduct Trade Studies and present results to customers
• SE technical contributor for verification and validation efforts, ensuring all requirements are being assessed
• Work closely with the Systems, Software, Configurable Logic and Test teams on a variety of program technical tasks
• Participate in technical conversations with the customer
• Become a knowledgeable and ‘go-to’ Systems Engineer for the software centric program capabilities
• Help to onboard new team members, mentor, and guide them using core Systems Engineering skills
