Job summary

RTX seeks a Principal Systems Engineer for our Tucson, AZ location to design, develop, and partner with multi-disciplinary teams on missile software-focused systems. You will manage system requirements, perform model-based engineering, and contribute to verification and integration for fielded and development missile systems.

The role requires embedded software expertise, MBSE, and collaboration with the customer and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in STEM and at least 8 years engineering experience.
Experience in Systems Engineering.
Experience MBSE, requirements development, verification, or integration/test for software products.

Responsibilities

Update and maintain system and subsystem requirements for embedded software and test systems.
Model system development and production processes using Cameo.
Conduct trade studies and present results to customers.
SE technical contributor for verification/validation activities.
Collaborate with Systems, Software, Configurable Logic and Test teams on tasks.
Participate in technical conversations with the customer.
Become a knowledgeable systems engineer for software-centric program capabilities.
Mentor new team members using core Systems Engineering skills.
