CVS Health Corporation seeks a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead engineering teams across Claims Adjudication and PBM platforms. You will drive cloud-native modernization, guide architecture, and champion AI/GenAI adoption while ensuring secure, compliant delivery.

You will partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into roadmaps, manage budgets, and foster a high-performing culture focused on engineering excellence and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable software applications and distributed systems.
• 3+ years leading, managing, mentoring software engineering teams.
• 5+ years delivering software in Agile/Scrum environments.
• 3+ years designing microservices and API-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers spanning software, AI, and quality engineering.
• Own people leadership lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance, career development.
• Manage budgets, headcount, capacity planning, and cloud-spend optimization.
• Define team goals and OKRs aligned with strategy; track delivery and quality metrics.
• Define and execute engineering roadmaps with stakeholders and architects.
• Ensure security, HIPAA-compliant practices, and audit readiness in platforms.
