Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager of AI Engineering to establish and lead enterprise AI capabilities. You will drive architecture, standards, and the delivery of secure, scalable AI platforms while staying hands‑on with modern AI technologies.

You will build and mentor a high‑performing team, partner with executives to align AI investments with business goals, and ensure governance and responsible AI practices across cloud‑native deployments.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, machine learning, or AI engineering experience.
2+ years leading engineering teams or architecture initiatives.
Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS and/or GCP.
Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.
Excellent communication and leadership to influence executives and teams.

Responsibilities

Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing AI engineering team.
Define architectural standards and roadmaps for enterprise AI platforms.
Lead end‑to‑end AI solution delivery across the SDLC with security and reliability.
Champion Responsible AI, governance, and regulatory alignment.
Partner with product and business stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business outcomes.
Guide cloud‑native design across AWS, GCP, and on‑premise ecosystems.
