Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Advisor for Morris Plains, NJ to design and develop a consolidated enterprise data warehouse and data lake storing critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client, and Benefits.

Responsibilities include leading complex engineering projects, building scalable data pipelines in AWS with Python and Spark, and delivering end-to-end software solutions. Hybrid schedule and healthcare industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field with 5 years of experience.
• Experience in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management industry.
• Experience migrating legacy Mainframe Enrollment and Eligibility processing to AWS, Python, and Spark-based frameworks.
• Proficient with Jira for project management and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership on complex engineering assignments and projects.
• Design, develop and implement data warehouse/data mart solutions to extract patterns and relationships from large datasets.
• Deliver end-to-end software solutions from concept to deployment.
• Support enterprise information environment analytics and reporting for strategic decision making.
• Drive CI/CD adoption and improve tool sets and processes.
• Write software that interfaces and integrates systems.
