Job summary

The Cigna Group in Overland Park, KS seeks a Software Engineering Advisor to design and build a consolidated enterprise data warehouse and data lake spanning Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and Benefits data.

Responsibilities include developing methods to extract insights from large data stores, building RESTful APIs and event-driven services, and delivering secure, low-latency, high-availability applications with modern SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• 3 years of experience in software engineering or related role.
• Experience building healthcare applications in the pharmacy domain is a plus.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and experience with RESTful services and microservices.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, and ReactJS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop consolidated enterprise data warehouse and data lake for core domains.
• Create RESTful APIs and event-driven services in distributed environments.
• Implement security, data protection, and high-performance solutions.
• Develop and maintain health kit API/frontend layers and CI/CD pipelines.
