Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field and 3 years of software engineering experience on mainframe tech.
• Experience implementing business logic with COBOL and modifying existing COBOL logic.
• Experience with CICS, VSAM, DB2, JCL and mainframe batch processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement solutions for Claims Adjudication and Drug Utilization Review systems.
• Build solutions that integrate multiple technologies and architectures.
• Conceive, plan, and deliver initiatives and advise functional leaders.
• Lead programming and testing efforts, estimate projects, and ensure quality.
• Translating requirements into formal design docs and ensuring delivery with a hybrid work schedule.
