Job summary

The Cigna Group in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a Software Engineering Advisor to provide expert guidance on complex software engineering assignments and projects. You will analyze, design, develop, and implement solutions for Claims Adjudication and Drug Utilization Review systems, and translate client requirements into formal designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 3+ years of software engineering experience on mainframe technologies.
• Implementing business logic using COBOL and modifying logic based on requirements.
• Processing real-time mainframe transactions with CICS, using VSAM and DB2.
• Developing Java services and Spring Boot microservices to connect apps to the mainframe.
