Job summary

The Cigna Group in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Advisor to provide expert technical leadership on complex engineering projects and enterprise data initiatives.

Responsibilities include delivering the enterprise information environment through analytics and reporting, providing counsel to top management on engineering matters, participating in all SDLC phases from requirements to deployment, and shaping data architecture across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
• Experience with developing modules of applications in ASP.NET MVC.
• Experience with ML.net and web service technologies (WCF/XML).
• Strong GUI development experience and data communication with business layer objects.
• Healthcare/PBM industry exposure and knowledge of formulary/compliance is a plus.
• Proficiency with SQL, ADO.NET, Tableau, OOP/OOD, and modern UI tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of the enterprise information environment enabling analytics and reporting.
• Provide technical counsel to top management on engineering matters.
• Participate in all SDLC phases from requirements to design and deployment.
• Design and implement data warehouse/data lake architectures across multiple data domains.
• Define technical standards, design patterns, best practices and frameworks.
• Support production issues and propose resolution strategies.
