Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking multiple Software Engineers to support development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of satellite ground software. Positions may be onsite at Aurora, CO or Morrisville, NC campuses.

Candidates will own full SDLC, work in a collaborative team, and contribute to mission-critical software across OS, platform, and data layers. The role requires strong Java 1.8+ expertise, experience with microservices, and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with development experience required.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
• 2+ years in Agile programs and software product delivery.
• Experience in full-stack software engineering and architecture documentation.
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines and test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of full software development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Develop applications enabling command and control functionality of hardware systems.
• Prepare software that supports mission planning, constraint checking, and visualization across 2D/3D environments.
• Collaborate with program management and government customers; communicate clearly.
