Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking multiple Software Engineers to support Eastern Software and Controls in developing, integrating, deploying, and sustaining satellite ground software. This on-site role is located at our Colorado Springs, CO campus and may require extended hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with several years of development experience. 5+ years with Python and C++ for Principal; 8+ years for Sr Principal. Active clearances required (SCI, Top Secret possible SAP).
• Experience with Agile programs including Agile DevOps and software architecture documentation.
• Experience with Python, C++ and Docker/Kubernetes. US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development across OS, platform, and mission-specific software layers.
• Develop client/server applications and services using SOA and data exchange patterns.
• Create software for command and control of hardware systems and mission planning tools.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver software that enables visualization and decision support.
