Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is hiring multiple Software Engineers to support satellite ground software development, integration, deployment and sustainment. Positions are onsite at Aurora, CO; Fairfax, VA; or Morrisville, NC with leadership opportunities and lifecycle responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will own complex problems, drive solutions, and communicate effectively with government customers and program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of development experience (3 years with a Master’s Degree, 1 year with a PhD). 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
• 2 Years Experience with Agile programs
• 2 Years Experience with the design, build, and deployment of software products
• 2 Years Experience in producing software architecture documentation
• Experience with Python, GO, AWS, GitLab workflows, and Docker/Kubernetes
• Senior role requires 8+ years development experience and 4+ years with advanced degrees

Responsibilities

• Full life cycle software development: requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance.
• Develop software enabling command and control of hardware systems.
• Create visualization tools for complex environments and support mission planning and analysis.
• Collaborate with program management and government customers to meet needs and timelines.
• Lead technical efforts and contribute to architecture documents and testing procedures.
