Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking multiple Software Engineers to support Eastern Software and Controls in their development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of satellite ground software.

You will work across languages including C++, Python, Postgres, Ansible, and cloud infrastructure provisioning, PKI, and code analysis. This role focuses on building command and control capabilities for space systems and requires a proactive, self-driven engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with development experience (Python/C++).
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance and SAP.
• 2+ years Agile DevOps experience.
• 2+ years design, build, deployment of software products.
• 2+ years producing software architecture documentation.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development across OS, platform, and mission software layers.
• Develop client/server applications with service-oriented architectures and data exchange.
• Work with Python, C++, Docker/Kubernetes, Postgres, and Ansible.
• Self-starter capable of decision-making with budget/schedule in mind.
• Develop software enabling command and control of hardware systems.
• Support activity planning and constraint checking for mission goals.
• Create visualization tools for complex dynamic environments.
