Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking multiple Software Engineers to support satellite ground software development on site at our Colorado Springs, CO campus. You will work on full stack development across OS, platform, and mission software layers with modern toolchains.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's with Python and C++ experience, an active Top Secret clearance with SCI, and readiness to obtain SAP. Experience with Agile DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes, and software architecture is valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of development experience (3 years with a Master’s Degree, 1 year with a PhD) in Python and C++.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI at time of application and ability to obtain SAP.
- 2 years experience with Agile DevOps and software architecture documentation.
Responsibilities
- Full stack development at OS, platform, and mission software layers.
- Develop client/server applications using service-oriented architectures and data exchange.
- Work with Python, C++, Docker/Kubernetes, and related toolsets.
- Prepare software architecture documentation and contribute to planning.
- Support software that provides command and control for hardware systems.
- Collaborate in a dynamic space mission environment for planning and visualization.
