Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, Missouri is seeking a Software Engineer, Phantom Works (Experienced or Senior) to contribute to Open Architecture Systems Integrated Software (OASIS) solutions. You will lead software development tasks, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring code quality, traceability, and timely delivery across contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active Top Secret U.S. Security clearance
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 5+ years of Java and/or C++ object‑oriented programming
• 3+ years of experience leading software development projects
• 1+ years of MATLAB

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning of software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and unit/integration/functional/system testing of customer desired features/user stories, ensuring successful achievement of acceptance criteria.
• Translate system-level requirements into software requirements and models with traceability to design, code and test artifacts.
• Identify risk and issues; lead integration and deployment of mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle.
• Lead code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards.
• Monitor and review test completion, verification processes and issue resolution for software systems.
• Track and evaluate internal team and supplier performance to ensure alignment with project plans and industry standards.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers in software development.
• Interface with various software programming languages.
