Boeing is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join the Phantom Works software team in Berkeley, MO. You will design, develop, and maintain C++ autonomy services within Phantom Works autonomy platforms, implementing OMS/UCI interfaces and containerized deployments in Linux environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, Agile practices, and DevSecOps with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Podman, and modern tooling. A U.S. Secret clearance and a BS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• 2+ years of experience developing software using C++
• Experience working with Linux
• Experience with GitLab or similar version control tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ autonomy services within Phantom Works autonomy platforms
• Implement and maintain standards-based interfaces (OMS/UCI) for inter-service communication
• Develop and maintain containerized services using Docker/Podman in Linux environments
• Integrate services across simulation and flight environments
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline maintenance
• Document service interfaces, architectures, and integration patterns
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices including automated builds, static analysis, and security scanning
• Track work items and participate in Agile sprint activities
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and follow established engineering processes
