Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead in the US to guide technical direction for enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud‑native platforms. Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
- Cloud platforms experience with Google Cloud Platform preferred
- Kubernetes and container orchestration experience with IaC
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and API management tools
- Healthcare/pharma/regulatory experience is a plus
- Knowledge of OAuth2/OpenID Connect/JWT and API security
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications and cloud‑native solutions
- Own end‑to‑end technical delivery across multiple workstreams
- Define architecture, standards, and best practices
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and guidance
- Lead architecture reviews and project milestones
- Mentor engineers and manage critical incidents and RCA
