Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on development for complex enterprise applications, integrations, and cloud-native platforms. This role partners with Product, Architecture, Security, and Delivery teams to ensure strategic objectives are met.

They will lead architecture, design, and implementation, drive DevSecOps adoption, and mentor developers and partners. Strong Java, Spring Boot, and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8–12 years of experience preferred across software engineering and technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions.
• Own end-to-end technical solution delivery across multiple workstreams with scalability and security.
• Define architecture standards and best practices across teams.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and guide implementation strategies.
