Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Starlink Enterprise Products (Space Lasers) in Redmond, WA. You will own software for bring-up and operation of Starlink products including Plaser, Community Gateway, and Starlink Aviation.

You will work across embedded, backend, and UI layers with a focus on reliability and scalability. Qualifications include a BS in CS/engineering/science and 5+ years in software development; experience with embedded systems and Linux networking is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in computer science, engineering, math or science discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices for millions of users.
• Lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Improve experience, reliability, and efficiency of the product.
• Develop prototypes and run experiments to validate concepts.
• Write Linux-based software for processors and microcontrollers.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and test cases.
