Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for Starlink Enterprise Products (Space Lasers) to own software for bring-up and operation of Starlink products, including Plaser, Community Gateway, and Starlink Aviation. You will work across embedded, backend, and UI layers, tackling challenging interdisciplinary problems and driving software from development to support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or other STEM discipline.
• 1+ year of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience is acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Design highly available, fault-tolerant devices for millions of users with minimal maintenance.
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Identify areas to improve experience, reliability, and efficiency of the product.
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts.
• Write quality Linux-based software for common processors and microcontrollers.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and testcases.
