Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Starlink Enterprise Products (Space Lasers) to own bring-up and operation of devices and software across embedded, backend, and UI layers.

You will develop highly available software, contribute to architecture decisions, and drive improvements for the Starlink ecosystem. You will build prototypes, operate hardware-in-the-loop testbeds, and collaborate across teams to deliver products like Plaser, Community Gateway, and Starlink Aviation, with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices that operate for long periods of time with minimal maintenance for millions of users
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews
• Identify areas to improve the experience, reliability, and efficiency of the product.
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts
• Write quality linux based software for common processors and microcontrollers
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and testcases
