SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Starlink Enterprise Products (Space Lasers) to own bring-up and operation of devices and software across embedded, backend, and UI layers.

You will develop highly available software, contribute to architecture decisions, and drive improvements for the Starlink ecosystem. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices that operate for long periods of time with minimal maintenance for millions of users
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews
• Identify areas to improve the experience, reliability, and efficiency of the product.
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts
• Write quality linux based software for common processors and microcontrollers
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and testcases
