Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for Starlink Enterprise Products (Space Lasers) in Redmond, WA. You will own software for bring‑up and operation of Starlink products including Plaser, Community Gateway, and Starlink Aviation, spanning embedded, backend, and UI layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or other STEM discipline.
• 1+ year of professional software engineering experience (Internship acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, fault‑tolerant devices for millions of users.
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Identify areas to improve the experience, reliability, and efficiency of the product.
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts.
• Write quality Linux based software for common processors and microcontrollers.
• Develop hardware‑in‑the‑loop testbeds and testcases.
