Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer to integrate and report data using SPLUNK across diverse projects, from front-end dashboards to back-end repositories. You will collaborate with teams to understand data types, ensure proper data flows, and implement changes in project applications.

The role requires extensive Java, C++, JSP/Servlets, RESTful services, and Tomcat deployment. A TS/SCI with Poly clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 19+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Nineteen (19) years of experience required; four additional years if no technical degree.
• Three plus years of SPLUNK experience.
• Three plus years of C++ experience.
• Fourteen or more years of Java programming experience including at least two years of Java 1.7+ and development of presentation tiers.
• Two or more years of Spring and Javascript experience.
• Five or more years of JSP and servlet programming experience.
• Five or more years of experience with JEE and enterprise web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics and data processing.
• Review and test software components for design adherence; document results.
• Debug defects and resolve problem reports; propose design improvements.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities across teams.
