Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space System is seeking a Software Engineer to support a ground-based radar program for Space Domain Awareness. You will contribute to the design, implementation, integration, and sustainment of software supporting mission execution, system control, and data processing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has strong Java and Spring Boot experience, proficiency with containerization (Docker/Podman) and Kubernetes, and a solid background in Linux,

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required at time of application.
• Bachelor's STEM degree (4-year) or 3 years with a Master's STEM; 4 additional years experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate, and sustain software for radar mission execution and data processing.
• Collaborate across engineering teams applying systems engineering principles.
• Develop and test software in Java within Linux environments; maintain documentation.
