Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team. You will design and build workflows and UI capabilities that power Elastic Defend agent, collaborating across security engineering, product, and design to deliver high-scale features for protection and response against threats.

You will write production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code, contribute to APIs, and help shape the architecture of the Defend management and OSquery forensics

Qualifications

• Strong experience in TypeScript/Node.js and React.js.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end from requirements to production.
• Leveraging AI to accelerate development and problem understanding.
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Elastic Defend UI features.
• Build and evolve APIs for Defend data interaction.
• Contribute to architecture of Defend management and OSquery forensics.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems in the Elastic ecosystem.
• Own reliability, observability and health of features in production.
• Write production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code with quality tests.
• Collaborate with other Elastic teams on cross-team efforts.
• Contribute to engineering standards and AI-driven tooling improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design decisions.
