Keyfactor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for remote US work. You will design, implement, and maintain software features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. The role requires leadership in projects, mentoring teammates, and contributing to software quality and CI practices.

You will work in a security-focused environment, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to documentation and product support as needed. Estate-level experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities with high proficiency in relevant tools.
• Proficiency in design patterns, strong architectural skills and advanced debugging abilities.
• Ability to lead complex projects, drive strategic initiatives and influence decisions.
• Ability to mentor team members and drive technical improvements.
• Extensive knowledge of industry trends, cross-functional processes and CI practices.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture principles, code optimization and CI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software features and functionality.
• Conduct code reviews, pull requests and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
• Contribute to improvement of software development processes and practices.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Work with QA and participate in QA efforts when needed.
• Participate in product support when needed.
• Contribute to technical documentation and project reports.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and iterative development.
