Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for Bespoke Solutions to design, build, and operate a mission-critical, multi-tenant platform for large-scale embedded fleets. You will work on cryptographic trust, ABAC/RBAC isolation, and edge-backend synchronization, delivering reliable, compliant cloud-edge solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
• Current TS/SCI with polygraph or higher; eligibility for SCI per gov't standards

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a decomposed, microservices-based platform
• Design secure inter-service communication (REST/mTLS)
• Build cryptographic trust infra with multiple CA hierarchies
• Implement multi-tenant data isolation with ABAC/RBAC
• Develop integrity mechanisms for configuration and audit data
• Engineer break-glass workflows with time-bound credentials
• Ensure cryptographic ops use FIPS 140-2 Level 3 KMS
• Design reconciliation where edge devices remain source of truth
