AnaVation LLC is seeking a Senior Developer II to design, build, and maintain secure mission‑critical applications used by federal law enforcement. You will guide junior engineers, collaborate with forensic experts, and ensure compliance with federal security standards across enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes mentoring, performance improvements, and supporting modern cloud deployments within DevSecOps pipelines, while aligning with government requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and secure-coding methodologies.
• Experience in government environments requiring audit compliance or privileged-access controls.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud services and FedRAMP-aligned platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must meet eligibility for Secret clearance; DHS EOD suitability required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop secure enterprise applications for investigative workflows.
• Implement audit logging and privileged-access controls per federal security requirements.
• Ensure software reliability, maintainability, and compliance with secure-development standards.
• Lead development activities and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Diagnose complex issues and optimize system performance.
• Contribute to documentation, design reviews, and code-quality standards.
