Job summary

Envestnet’s Tamarac team is seeking a senior software engineer to help scale a leading trading and portfolio management platform used by RIAs. You will design and implement scalable features, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers and data scientists across cloud-native services.

This remote role requires strong .NET/C#, RESTful APIs, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD practices. The position offers a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, RESTful APIs, and relational/NoSQL design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Redis.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD and observability practices.
• Experience mentoring P1–P2 engineers and contributing to team standards.
• Exposure to AI/ML systems or data pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains complex features or services.
• Leads technical design for small-to-medium features and services.
• Troubleshoots production issues and drives resolution.
• Implements observability and improves deployment automation.
• Collaborates with product managers, data scientists, and compliance teams.
• Mentors junior engineers and promotes coding standards.
