Job summary

Envestnet is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and evolve scalable fintech platforms supporting wealth management and advisor‑driven technology. You will contribute to distributed systems, data integration, and AI‑driven automation that powers global advisory workflows.

Based in Berwyn, PA with a hybrid work model, you’ll collaborate with product, data science and compliance teams to deliver reliable, low‑latency services in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing distributed, transactional fintech systems.
• Deep understanding of data consistency, idempotency, fault tolerance and scalability.
• Hands-on experience building stateful AI agents with memory management.
• Security, observability, and production incident handling expertise.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains complex features or system components.
• Leads technical design for small-to-medium features or services.
• Identifies root causes of issues and implements robust fixes.
• Optimizes code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentors junior engineers and guides coding practices.

• Collaborates with product, platform, and compliance stakeholders.
