Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to advance prescription processing and pharmacist workflows. You will help scale backend services, architect scalable systems, and contribute to ML-driven initiatives within a high-volume healthcare platform.

Responsibilities include enabling partners with configurable billing/workflows and streamlining prescription intake and processing up to pharmacy fulfillment, with a strong emphasis on maintainability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies (Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong fundamentals building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL; Python experience valued for ML initiatives.
• Experience building and integrating predictive ML models.

Responsibilities

• Preparing prescriptions for fulfillment and delivery quickly and accurately using automation and coordinated manual tasks when third-party input is required.
• Enabling partners (drug manufacturers, insurers, providers) to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows tailored to their use cases.
