GiveCampus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead donor-facing forms and payment flows. This is a remote-first role based in the United States, collaborating with product managers and designers to deliver reliable, secure fundraising capabilities.

You’ll work full‑stack with a modern front-end framework (React or Vue.js) and a backend (Rails/Node/Python), ensuring correctness and scalable performance. Opportunities to step into a Tech Lead role exist as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on development experience.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (React or Vue.js) plus a backend language/framework (Rails, Node.js, Python, or similar).
• Strong SQL database, data integrity, and schema design.
• API design and integration with RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain donor-facing giving forms and pages with a focus on conversion, accessibility, and mobile-first design.
• Hard‑en to payment flows—one-time, recurring, and memberships—with reliability and observability.
• Work across the full stack from UI to backend services and DB tuning.
• Own projects end to end: architecture, coding, tests, deployment, and production support.
• Partner with Product Manager and Designer to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support career growth.
• Contribute to coding standards, technical debt refinement, and security monitoring.
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding processes.
• Support the platform on a rotational basis including 24/7 on-call rotation for payments and deposits.
