Common App seeks a Software Engineering Team Lead to guide a talented group of developers in building web and mobile software for our mission-driven nonprofit.

You will mentor engineers, define architecture, and ensure high-quality delivery while collaborating with Senior Director, Software Engineering. The role requires 8–10 years in software development, a CS/Engineering degree, and US residency with travel for retreats and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8-10 years of successful, progressive experience in software development.
• 6-8 years of experience as people manager.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of Software Developers.
• Design and develop web-based and mobile software products for Common App.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee architecture, coding standards, and quality assurance.
