Job summary
the company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize the real-time video signalling infrastructure powering our customers with scalable, secure communications. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java.
- Experience with distributed/real-time systems.
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Support Video services as a part of on-call duties.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize real-time video signalling infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver low-latency media experiences.
- Ensure secure transmission and privacy compliance.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers as needed.
- Stay current with real-time communications advancements.
- Diagnose and resolve signalling and media issues; build debugging tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
