Job summary

Imply is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable web services and cloud infrastructure for Imply Lumi, used by thousands of companies worldwide, in a remote-first environment. You will join the Platform Engineering team to develop distributed systems, own full lifecycle features, and enable multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with IaC and strong cross-team collaboration.

Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform and API-first services is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software development, architecture and cloud tech.
• Experience building large-scale API-first production web services (Java).
• Production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm and IaC (Terraform).
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly available services across multiple regions in a multi-cloud environment.
• Build, maintain SaaS, BYOC, and on-prem offerings.
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code for deploying resources on Kubernetes across multiple clouds.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and on-call rotations.
• Work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team to build end-to-end customer experiences
• Demonstrate full lifecycle ownership of the products and features built, including writing documentation, manual and automated testing.
