Job summary

Keeper Security in the United States seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our PAM Discovery team. You will lead the backend discovery service that identifies privileged accounts, service accounts, keys and machines across AD, cloud IAM, databases and endpoints to enable secure management and rotation.

This is predominantly backend work with Python, plus Java/Kotlin on cloud services and occasional TypeScript/React for the admin interface.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development, backend focus.
• Strong Python experience for the Discovery engine.
• Java or Kotlin for backend services; TypeScript/React for admin UI.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs and data pipelines.
• Hands-on with Active Directory/LDAP; cloud IAM knowledge.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC and encryption practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python discovery engine for gateway deployments.
• Build Java/Kotlin cloud services to store and serve data.
• Discover privileged accounts, service accounts, keys and machines.
• Tackle identity correlation and data reconciliation across systems.
• Implement incremental re-scan and state reconciliation.
• Create tests, logging and diagnostics for field-trusted code.
• Design safe discovery workflows within customer networks.
