Job summary

Keeper Security, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend discovery for PAM Discovery.

This 100% remote role offers a hybrid option for candidates in the Chicago, IL or El Dorado Hills, CA areas, and focuses on discovering privileged identities and infrastructure across diverse environments. You will build Python services and Java/Kotlin cloud components, ensuring secure data handling within KeeperPAM.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Strong Python experience; Python is primary language for Discovery engine.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin for backend services; some TypeScript/React knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Python discovery engine for customer-deployed gateways; build Java/Kotlin cloud services.
• Create systems that discover privileged accounts, service accounts, keys, machines across AD, cloud IAM, databases, endpoints.
• Address identity correlation and reconciliation across multiple systems; avoid duplicates.
